Landmark Education Opens a New Center in New York City to Replace Its World Trade Center Facility

NEW YORK, December 17, 2002

Landmark Education, an education company with offices throughout the world, opens a new facility at 317 A. West 33rd Street, New York, New York this December. The largest center of LE was located at the World Trade Center and was destroyed during the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001. LE has conducted its seminars in temporary facilities across New York City since that time. A year later LE will welcome its graduates and participants in its new facility.

Although LE's offices were lost in the tragedy of 9/11, fortunately, its entire staff survived unharmed thanks to the heroics of the New York City’s police and firefighters. In commemorating the LE center, LE would like to honor the extraordinary commitment and heroism of firefighters and policemen in New York and throughout the United States of America by offering police and firefighters its core programme, The Landmark Forum - free of charge.

Landmark Education is an educational corporation that provides a breakthrough learning process in seminars and programmes designed for personal growth and development. Founded in 1991, the company is celebrating 11 years of business with over 125,000 people participating in its programmes annually. Considered to be a leader in its field, one of the largest, most relevant and diverse education groups in the world, Time Magazine recognized LE as “a global brand name” in the field of personal growth and development.

Armand DiCarlo, Center Manager of New York City says “I am proud that my company made a commitment to New York, relocating in permanent facilities within the year. New York has always been one of our largest centers in the world and I am pleased to be able to open this facility and continue to offer our programmes to all of New York. It is especially great for us to have the opportunity to give back to the firefighters and police across the US.”

Landmark Education delivers programmes designed to support individuals and organisations to develop the power and the ability to face both critical and everyday challenges in all situations.
